Devotees carry the cross on their way to Malayattoor church

Malayattoor church is situated on the top of a hill in Ernakulam District, Kerala State, India. During holy week,  pilgrims carry heavy wooden Cross on their shoulders remembering the sufferings of Jesus Christ at Calvary.
